Diagnosis of active infection caused by Varicella Zoster virus (VZV). Assesses the cellular response (antigen-specific T lymphocytes) in varicella zoster and herpes zoster infection.
EliSpot assays are recommended approximately 6 weeks after treatment completion to assess the effectiveness of the treatment.
