Elispot Aspergillus
Elispot (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent spot)-a method of detecting cells (T-lymphocytes) secreting certain products (cytokines, mediators, etc.).
The method is highly sensitive and can detect even one single T-cell reacting to the infection.

Diagnosis of current cellular immune activity against Aspergillus infection. Assesses the cellular response (antigen-specific T cells) in aspergillosis.

EliSpot assays are recommended approximately 6 weeks after treatment completion to assess the effectiveness of the treatment.
