Elispot (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent spot)-a method for detecting cells (T-lymphocytes) secreting cytokines.
The method is highly sensitive and can detect even one single T-cell reacting to the infection.
Diagnosis of Borrelia miyamotoi infection. Assesses the cellular response (antigen-specific T cells) in Borrelia miyamotoi infection.
EliSpot assays are recommended approximately 6 weeks after treatment completion to assess the effectiveness of the treatment.
