Diagnosis of Bartonella bacterial infection. The infection is transmitted by ticks (so-called coinfections) and other blood-sucking insects (e.g. fleas) and through cat scratches. Detects IgG antibodies for 6 Bartonell species: B. henselae, B. quintana, B. elizabethae, B. alsatica, B. vinsonii ssp. berghoffii, B. vinsonii ssp. arupensis.
